Instructor: Wil Heflin
Wil Heflin got his start in improv without realizing improv existed. Growing up, Wil attended and later worked at a summer camp in rural Alabama that prided itself on performing silly skits with absurd characters.
In 2015, a DSI company member invited Wil to a Mister Diplomat show which began Wil's formal relationship (read: obsession) with improv. Since then, Wil has studied under a variety of improvisers including Brandon Holmes, Dan DeSalva, and Zach Ward. Wil is a regular cast member of Versus, DSI's house hip hop improv team. He has also performed in New York at the Del Close Marathon & opened for DJ Dougg Pound (of Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! fame).
Wil dreams of eliminating the penny, requiring all bathroom doors to be push, and never again dealing with the horrible water that precedes the mustard. Wil also enjoys playing music and promises to do his best not to ruin your next party by picking up & playing the old guitar you keep in the corner.
