Instructor: Brandon Holmes
Instructor Bio: Brandon was first exposed to improv comedy when he tried out for the then-newly-formed troupe at his alma mater, Presbyterian College. He made it! And loved every single minute of it! A member of DSI since the spring of 2011, Brandon has taken classes with Zach Ward, Paula Pazderka, and Jeremy McDonald, as well as workshops with Corey Brown, Rick Andrews, Chet Siegel, and Charna Halpern (legend).
Brandon performs with DSI's Touring Company, Wildcard, and three-man supergroup Black Ops (with Kit FitzSimons). He also performs with and directs DSI's flagship show MISTER DIPLOMAT, and teaches improv classes at the 101 and 201 levels. Improv has taken him all over the country, to bar mitzvahs and nondenominational lock-ins, block parties and watermelon eating contests, New York City and on top of a bank vault in Kinston, NC (what a night).
Brandon works at Duke. On any given day, you can probably find several hairs from his beloved scrappy junkyard mutt dog, Miso, on his jeans. Brandon loves music, but he's not crazy about podcasts. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
